If your attempt to cut a wig down and turn it into a hair topper fails miserably, you may want to consult with a professional. The video below shows you how I transformed one of the most expensive and sought-after wigs in the world into an incredible hair topper for your own use. Making use of the steps provided in this section, you can transform an individual's lace front freetress water wave curly hair into an individual's Hair Extension. Cut a Belle Madame Angelina wig in half and use it as a hair topper in minutes rather than hours with this extremely simple technique.

Several years ago, I began to consider wearing toppers and searched YouTube videos to determine which companies offered the highest quality wigs and hairpieces from which to choose. Particularly appealing to me were the wigs, which seemed to be the talk of the town at the time. Among the wigs I discovered to be the most popular among those who tried them on were the Carlotta SF and Angelina Mono SF by Belle Madame Wigs. These were two of the wigs that I discovered to be the most popular among those who tried them on. I was well aware that I needed them as soon as possible. The fact that they are manufactured by a company based in the United Kingdom constitutes a flaw in their overall design and functionality. Wig retailers in the United States are reporting that they are running low on stock at random intervals. As a temporary measure, I placed an order for both of them from a company based in the United Kingdom called Continental Wigs because I couldn't wait for them to restock. I apologize for the error in my previous statement that they were purchased in London; they were actually purchased in Lutterworth, which is located north of the capital. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.)

The Angelina Mono SF wig was my favorite of the two water wave hair I tried on, and it was the one I ended up purchasing. The Mono top is an abbreviation for a sheer monofilament top with a high neckline that is available in a variety of colors and textures. Super front super fine welded mono front edge is the abbreviation used to refer to this product, which stands for super front super fine welded mono front edge. As a result of the sheer top and delicate lace front of this stunning piece, it is virtually undetectable when worn on the scalp. The Angelina was waiting for me when I opened my mailbox, which made me ecstatic. In my excitement, I couldn't keep it under control. From the moment that I laid eyes on her for the first time, I was head over heels in love with her. Because I still had a lot of my own hair on the front hairline, I found that the lace front hairline on this wig didn't quite look right on my forehead when I had all of my own hair on the front hairline. Finally, I came to the conclusion that I was simply not prepared to wear a full wig at this point in my professional or personal life at this time. Consequently, it was returned to the container from which it was originally retrieved

We have now arrived in the present day, nearly two years after we left the previous day. The use of hair extensions is something I'm currently experimenting with. Every time I get a flash of inspiration, I pull the Angelina out of her box and consider shrinking her base to the size of a cake topper or something along those lines. Although I've done this before, I've never had the courage to take it down until now.)It'll be a while before I can wear it again, so I figured, what the heck, I'll just wear it for now. Despite my better judgment, I made the decision to go ahead and do it! And what a stunningly beautiful woman she has turned out to be, my goodness. She is, in my opinion, truly remarkable! It was such an incredible experience that I decided to capture it on video for future reference. You can see it by clicking on the following link. Following the completion of this video, I decided to write a blog post that included up-close images and additional details to help you feel confident when cutting your wig. I hope you find this post helpful. How to cut a freetress water wave down to its bare essentials is covered in great detail in this comprehensive tutorial.

Making a Lace Front Wig into a Hair Topper is a simple process that anyone can do.

It was important to me that the topper base looked nearly identical to the Belle Tress Top Wave, which is my all-time favorite topper and one that I wanted to replicate as closely as possible. The Angelina's throat was about to be slit with the scissors when I realized it was going to be a close call. Remember to keep the dimensions of your existing topper in order to get the proper measurements for the new piece of furniture. If you are only wearing a wig and have never worn a topper before, measure the thin areas of your head on the top of your head to determine the size of your topper. Finally, I placed my topper one inch behind my hairline and fluffed my natural hair in front of it to finish the look. Calculate the necessary adjustments to account for the one-inch difference between the height and width of the two measurements.

Some of you may prefer to wear your toppers all the way down to your hairline, and that is perfectly acceptable as well. When viewed from the back of the head, the majority of toppers are only a few millimeters longer than the edge of the hat's crown. There are many different colors available for the Belle Tress Top Wave which measures 6.5 by 6 inches. Because I wanted to see how it looked on me, it was necessary for me to make the Angelina wig a little larger than it needed to be before trying it on. Then I had to trim it down by another weft or two to make it fit better on the top of my head, which took a long time. You can determine the proper  size for yourself by taking your own measurements. Vertical bands just below the last/bottom weft should be cut with sharp scissors to achieve the length of the topper that you measured in the previous step. Cut the horizontal bands just below the last/bottom weft. Cutting through the wefts should be avoided at all costs because doing so will cause them to unravel. WHAT YOU READ HERE IS VERY IMPORTANT! For the sides where there is solid fabric, you must flip the piece over and part your hair where you intend to cut it on the other side in order to achieve your desired look on the solid fabric sides. Cutting through the fabric is not recommended because doing so may result in cutting through the hair on the other side of the fabric.
